Gstaylorg,
I absolutely agree, but in a way I still get the feel that stores try to sell it harder then the SFP. I do firmly believe that both of them have their pros and cons but when it comes down to the line I still think that it depends on the shooter and his/her knowledge and experience...
To be honest I was kind of worried since I couldn't find any info about it but my smith talked really well about it. Now after this time I'm sure that even the next one will be a Lother :D
Is it just me or has it become a trend that you need to have a ffp scope with extreme magnification to be able to shoot long range. I was looking for a new scope and it kind of just hit me... It almost seems that it's imposible to shoot past 100 m with sfp. Sure, I love my other scope with ffp...
If you ment that to me - isn't it what I just said? We don't know what type of students he has and maybe in their case it just might be well to use something else before bipod.
So, I got bored yesterday and just for the heck of it I tried shooting dot drills on a hard surface.
5 from bipod, 5 from backpack and 5 from a sandbag. To be honest, I got the same results.. just didn't like that
the sandbag started to settle - yeah, sure, I didn't fill it up all the way...
You are actually right! I forgot that I even have quick load... So, hopefully I know how the result will be. But I think that I still need to do a solid ladder test just to obtain the maximum quality. Just so I'm thinking straight - lets say the oal to the ogive and all the other parameters are...
Roggom,
I actually tried that... first I got stuck in line and the call god disconnected. After that I talked to a lady that asked me to hold... and then I got disconnected again haha. Sp, been there, done that and was hoping for some help.
I was actually thinking almost in the same way as you...
Hi all hide members :)
I have a question regarding a load. Yes, I did try to find it by searching here and on Google but I didn't actually find anything I could trust.
Since I've had a hard time getting hold of my regular bullets (Berger) I've decided to switch to Hornady A-max.
I'm in...
Anyone of you gentlemen that want to help a guy out with this ladder test... preferably before I loose it and go totaly nuts. :D
If anyone has the time and will please do PM me.
Take care :)
Hi guys,
Didn't know what to called this post so sorry for the eventual misunderstanding.
Just wanted to check with you at what range you test your loads?
Thanks :)
Re: Would need your help
Okey gentlemen, I will listen to you in that case.
Ps I know that it feels good to help a fellow shooter out, I was the one that gave away a box of Bergers :P
I need to add trout that there are some really amazing people here on this site. Their generosity is...
