Re: Buying a PVS-14 (a guide) OK, so basically if I am using a 1x such as an EOTech I want to use the head mount, and a LASER which is understandable at range. I am looking for a CQB solution using either the EOTech or an ACOG. Preferably the EOTech. Since all this tech came out after my...
Re: MIlitary Dogs Need Our Help Just got my dog home. I had to go through 13 days 24/7 training to learn how to command the dog before they signed me off on it. VA pays for the dogs vet bills.
Re: Gun ban Any Advice for a new gun shop owner? I am guessing that You get to keep everything you got and register it with the ATF as a PRE BAN weapon, and then sell it as such. The buyer will then have to do the same. I don't think they can outright stop the transfer of pre-bans, but they...
Re: Buying a PVS-14 (a guide) I am looking to buy a PVS to use after a ACOG, EOTECH, or LEO Mk IV. My problem is that I want to use it on a 7.62 weapon. Disclaimers on TNVC say this is a no go with the 14 due to recoil. Do I have to upgrade to the PVS-22 to handle this kind of recoil? or...
Re: MIlitary Dogs Need Our Help Just to put in another side of this story... There is a group called Vet Dogs, Veterans K9 Corp. that provides these dogs. They also provide dogs to help vets who are hurt and could use a dog to help them. It is truly amazing to see these dogs work. I am a...
Re: Ruger mini 14 stock I have a Mini in a Sage EBR stock that cost me more than the rifle and added considerable weight. It has the capability to add a folding stock. You are getting into money here though. As far as some of the other after market stocks, some are cheap plastic crap...
Re: help with chest rigs or battle belt?? Fkn A it needs to change it's name. Everything is out of stock! Everything I liked was OOS, but I finally found something. I wonder what will arrive? The I ended up with a Esstac Chest Rig, Bush Boar A1 (Split Front). I had to buy the...

Re: Lake City 173 gr Match Jams up M14 I don't know Gump. I only brought the ammo out to the range once, and had problems with the mag cycling the ammo out of the mag. It seemed to be getting jammed out of the mag on the feed ramp. I had to cycle the op rod by hand to flip out the round...
Re: help with chest rigs or battle belt?? I really like that split front. That is a really good idea. I am glad you took the time to post that. Us old timers can't find our way through all this new modern gear. This is the decade of the soldier. Was a time when only Grunts and Mercs...

Re: Juggernaut M14 Bullpup Buyers First Impressions Just saw a pic of a cantilever scope mount on the Sage in another post. Looks like a nice solution for the EBR. It comes of the forward rail and hangs over the receiver. I wonder what kind of beating it would take and still stay on.
Re: opinions-convert M1a or switch to AR-10 platform Nice pics. Where did you get that scope mount? That looks nice. With regards to the Sage EBR....Have you tried to use the Fulton Clip guide mount for the rear ring, and the front rail to mount the front ring? It is a nice setup, but the...
I was looking at the J Allen Stock for the Rem 700 and was wondering if anyone out there had one? It accepts AICS mags. I was going to go with a AICS stock and Viper skins until I saw this. I have two JA stocks on two of my M14s and like them. Wondering how the 700 shooters out there think...
Re: help with chest rigs or battle belt?? Check out www.MilitaryMorons. They have good reviews of equipment. I use a Viking Tactics belt with a riggers belt run through it and attach my chest gear to my body armor. You can attach your chest rig to the belt if you want.
M1a Supermatch is a Primo weapon If you want a battle rifle stay with the M14. It will never jam on you like an AR in the mud and sand. There are options to deal with scope mounting besides those crappy side mounts. Usually a aftermarket stock such as an Sage EBR, Rogue, Troy, or JAllen...
