Or just buy them. Never said 5k is the limit for the hobby. I completely understand the additional costs for the full kit. I shoot a lot on multiple platforms and reload. Just don’t have a dedicated long distance rig at the moment.

That sounds great. I added myself to the snipers hide waitlist for the September PA class already. Hoping that comes through as well as its only a few hours from me and would be an easy trip to make.

Funny you mention that. I was just listening to a podcast earlier with Jacob Bynum. Good stuff and it would be awesome to attend one of his courses.

Hi SH, I'm curious to see what you would choose if you had to 5k on a rifle and optic setup to get started. Ranges within a reasonable proximity to me go out to 1000 yards. I don't plan to compete but want to attend courses and enjoy honing my craft.

Hi SH, I was active in this hobby about 10 yrs ago when on active duty. Now I'd like to get back into it. I'm from the Pittsburgh PA area and looking for a range. I'd love to hear some suggestions if you have one.
