Sloppy speech, sloppy writing... -could be "worse", not worst. -but "I could NOT care less", not "I could care less". If you could care less, that means that you actually do care, and there is room to care even less. Had to point it out :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is your opinion, and you have a right to that. In my opinion, tactical does not mean war gear. Tactical can mean something other than war. Concealing a weapon is considered a "tactical advantage" to carrying openly, due to its element if surprise. A tactic is more of a skill, a style. The...
I don't call it a stick... I don't call bullets, pills... But don't ever threaten anyone with beating someone with their own rifle. And saying that they have never bought anything really tactical? What then, sir, is defined as tactical to you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep you'll need a bullet puller and calipers also. The funnel comes with the lee kit. The lee kit also has lube, powder measure, beam scale, etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So here is my process (pretend that the brass has been fired a few times, and the necks are getting brittle). Using an electric drill, I take the lee case holding tool http://www.midwayusa.com/product/476992/lee-case-trimmer-cutter-and-lock-stud and the corresponding shell holder...
Good choice. I started reloading to save money... But now I do it to get better ammo ;) the saving money part is just a perk now hahaa Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you guys would like a list of the equipment I use to reload, I can write down each step next time I'm reloading. It's mostly lee equipment. But they're very precise loads! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good deal dude. I think I'm gonna pick one up soon too, makes quick and accurate work for bolt guns! For .223 and .45 I don't really care for precision like I do for bolt guns though. I actually use a scooper for .223 lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome rifle, awesome equipment. I use a stock Remington 700 sps tactical (20" also) with a timney trigger also. Shoots sub MOA, so I have no reason to get a custom barrel! :) Where did you pick that up at? I want another, with a threaded 5R barrel (mine isn't 5r) Sent from my iPhone using...
I always figured they would be almost identical as fgmm, that's weird. Scary that our snipers are limited to that stuff! What length barrel are you using? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Any of you guys want to go to the practice on Saturday? It's incredibly fun. You'll get some wind practice in (in my opinion, the most valuable shooting knowledge is reading wind) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Okay cool. I started with 168gr, but then moved to 175 because the 168 is subsonic by the time it reaches about 900-1000 yards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very nice! 175gr or 168? I used to use fgmm, but now I just use the brass. I've saved all the brass from shooting my fgmm. It's just so freakin expensive to shoot fgmm, $25-30 for 20 rnds? Heck no Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@ Todd: I plan on doing the Saturday practice, and I MIGHT do the Sunday match, but it's not 100% yet :P DBoz: you can easily get into reloading for under $300, and if you're getting 1 moa or above in your rifle, you can probably cut it in half with hand loading ;) Sent from my iPhone using...
