I searched the threads for vcog info and I found it mentioned and lightly touched on in a few threads but. We really have no deticated "VCOG thread". None that i found anyway. So if you have any vcog experiance places post here. I'm interested I every aspect of vcog usage. From 1x red dot type...
This is all good stuff thanks guys! Keep the info flowing. I guess the tavor with its light front end might be a bit more dependent on a decent muzzle device than more traditional rifles. Just to be clear, I am not "getting out" of ar15 platform in any way. Just selling one to raise funds...
So I have attempted to ignore my impulses to run out and jump on the tavor band wagon over the past year or so but with the introduction of recent aftermarket support (giessele & others) I am afraid I I can't ignore my curiosity any longer. Lately I have been digging through all the threads I...
Whoa now. Didn't say all that. The two systems don't seem to vary more than a few ounces and in light of that I would think the recrocating weights of a conventional style buffer might be more effective. If I am off base... Teach me.
Thanks every one. Especially jasonfaz...... Exactly the type of imput I am looking for. Pm me about your car10 buffer might take it if I can ever make a choice between the two systems. I think there may be some confusion about my goals and intentions. To restate, I AM running an adjustable gas...
Hello all. I have am almost finished with a mega maten mkm build and am having a hell of a time choosing between a low mass buffer system or a High mass buffer sytem. The goal is to end up with the softest shooting 308 I can get. Something the wife and grandkids could enjoy aswell. It will have...
Eeerr, yeah, thAt would be the one. What do you want for it? I have 2 sons. One is 1.5 the other is 4. Strong boys....... Give you both for it. That is the current going rate for an mkm set right? Two white babies? Can you tell I am fustrated?
Still on the hunt. Not to many notification options other than At Rainer And I am betting we are all on that one. Any one have any more tips for me..... Please let me know. Oh and the guy with the 12" fell through. Otherwise it would of been mine. Damn. So close.
As suggested I posted a few want to buy adds. I had a guy email me about a mkm set but it was a 12". Good price too. Really want the 14". My question is...... Does mega sell the 14" keymod rail separately at all so I could just pick up a 14" rail down the road to replace the 12"
Well I posted a few "WTB" adds in this forum and others. No replies yet. Does any body know of a few good " back in stock" email notification lists besides rainer arms'???
Been searching for a mega maten extended riffle lenght mkm with ambi lower reciever set for months. I am on every email notification list I can find and still nothing. If any one has a lead on a 14" mkm set please let me know. Thanks. Help me start this build!
I need a new rifle for the ny lake house..... Ever since the safe act my ny legal M14 is all out the window. This 700 16.5" looks like it fits the bill perfectly. Does it come in left handed variations?
Bumping this thread I hopes we will here from more sub-16" .308 owners. Some chrono data for 12-15" barrels For 130-168gr would be greatly apprietiated.
Your killing me. I saw your 16" extended riffle lenght mkm in another thread and I have been drooling ever since. You have any more pics of that setup you could besto on us?
while the ar style 308 is probably an "easier way out" the m1a/m14 series of riffles do leave a certain satisfaction when set up for success. which others have pointed out already, is often difficult and costly. irons are great but getting glass on top of an m14 is no magic voodoo. see attached...
