Yes, the proprietary flip up caps were an unexpected bonus. I especially like the way they are designed such that the front cap screws onto the front of the scope, and the rear cap can be reindexed or recentered when rotated on different magnification. Lot of features on this scope I like.
To engage the elevation turret lock, you simply rotate it clockwise 45 degrees and it pops up. To disengage the lock, push it in and rotate 45 degrees counter clockwise.
Thanks Lowlight. That makes more sense. I figured it was a military requirement but didn't know what for. You know, when I read the original descriptions for the scope a year ago, they made it sound like it would be a secondary zero stop, that you would still be able to dial above, much like...

Thanks for the input guys. How many chambers could I expect to get out of a high speed steel reamer vs. a carbide reamer? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Hello all, I am getting ready to purchase a chamber reamer to do a 260 Remington and I was looking for some suggestions on whether to do a standard SAAMI chamber or a match chamber. Standard throat of custom throat? As it stands right now, I am considering a live pilot reamer from Pacific...
