I have had a couple PSTs that have been great...however, I shot a buddy's rifle with one, and it looked as if you were looking thru smoke and it was the middle of the day. It was horrible.

I just recently made the switch and FFP, to me, is the only way to go. U never have to check your magnification or worry about math. Takes out the potential for error. If I wasn't running FFP I'd probably go to a fixed power. I don want to have to think on the fly.

That's kinda high, but if it is all you can get.....I have used BLC2 with CCI mil spec white box primers (mag primer) and had decent results. I like BLCs--especially in my M1A, but I have used it in my AR with satisfactory results. LC brass, CCI #41, 55gr bulk.

I had one and sold it for the funds. Wish I wouldn't have. That rifle would shoot any ammo I put through it. I have never seen a stock rifle shoot like that one. I wish I could say what ammo it liked--it liked everything!!!!

I bought some 175s at Midway a few weeks back. Thought it was odd they had them. My local shop had them too but they are $45/100. I refuse to pay that. My shop also had 260 brass and 6.5 bullets. I bought some, but got AMAX as, like the 175s, the 142 gr Sierras were out of sight.

Or Rock, or Barlein, or Brux, or Mullerworks...... Thing about this is that when you get into these barrels, they are all good and will perform. You ask 10 guys and you can get 10 different answers. Any choice you make, you will be pleased.

Got a Lilja on an AR-10. Rifle shoots better than I do.
