    Optics Planet - Never Again

I have had it with this company. I recommend that nobody ever buys anything from them. I ordered a Spuhr scope mount from them. Two days later their risk management department emailed me to say my order was on hold and asked me some questions about...

    Optics Planet - Never Again

Good question. OP was having a sale. It's a good reminder that it's worth paying a few extra bucks to support a great company like Mile High. Never buy from Optics Planet!

WARNING: Be careful, when you purchase from www.opticsplanet.com

Been a while since I've been on the hide. Obviously, Optics Planet should be avoided.

    Optics Planet - Never Again

I have had it with this company. I recommend that nobody ever buys anything from them. I ordered a Spuhr scope mount from them. Two days later their risk management department emailed me to say my order was on hold and asked me some questions about who exactly I was and what was my intended use...

Utah Shootouts Apr5, 2014, Practical Precision, Carbine, Pistol Match

Thanks for a great match Clint. Awesome course of fire and very well organized/safe. Went looking for results and noticed that your website was down....has been for a few days now. Just FYI.

    Suppressors SUREFIRE---I don't think so!!!!

Thanks for your offer Chuck but I'm not about to get in-between my dealers and their reps. Those are their relationships and I don't want to screw them up for them. I am sure you and everyone else can respect that. If you want feedback, please know some of your Utah dealers aren't exactly...

    Suppressors SUREFIRE---I don't think so!!!!

10+ cans in my inventory, including multiple SF's. Love SF cans. Hate SF customer service. Both reps and telephone customer service folks are total douchebags. Several dealers near my home say the same thing. Try calling them and not waiting 60 minutes, before being transferred elsewhere and...

    50 Cal? INSANE?

I own both an HS50 and M107A1. Neither kick very much. That's before the suppressor...still waiting on that stamp. My un-braked 308 is a bit harder of a kick. Do I want to bring either to a field match? No. Will the 107A1 (and the variety of very cheap surplus ammo produced for 50) destroy...

American Rifle's M2 Precision Bolt Action Rifle - The Balance of Power

Am I the only one scared of a 338 lapua that only weighs 13 pounds? I participate in field matches and value light-ness...but apparently I'm a delicate flower. Regardless it looks like a sweet rifle. Tailor made for this crowd...not the military contract chasing mass-produced rifles made...

Utah State Sniper Shoot 2013, Sept. 14 & 15 Results

Clint I see that Shooter orientation isn't until noon on Saturday, does that mean we can confirm zero/dope Saturday morning up until 11:30 or so? Will we be able to shoot all the way out to 1000 on Sat morning?

    2013 PCPR Challenge at altitude

I've got a quad cab Taco if somebody/bodies only has a car and needs a ride around the course. As long as we are squadded together should be ok.

Suppressors Help me select a 30 cal can.

Find another dealer. He doesn't want to 'do the paperwork' because he doesn't make a margin on the product if he's only transferring it to you. If you're going to pay that much, and wait that long, get the can you want.

In for a standby spot if/when available. We have a place right next to that piece of land...so we will be up there anyways.

    Sniper’s Hide Cup Official 2013 Sniper's Hide Cup 5/23 - 5/25

No problem. I'll bring 1,000 extra of both 9mm and 45 rounds for people who might be short. PM me for my cell phone...or just look for the white Toyota Tacoma with Utah plates. John

    Sniper’s Hide Cup Official 2013 Sniper's Hide Cup 5/23 - 5/25

I'll echo jeepone's post. I have plenty of 147gr 9mm (American Eagle) and 230gr 45ACP (WWB). I'm happy to bring along as much as anyone might need (100 round per person) provided you reimburse me at replacement value (i.e. whatever it's going for on gunbroker, less shipping) and buy me a 6-pack...

    Sniper’s Hide Cup Official 2013 Sniper's Hide Cup 5/23 - 5/25

Zak, Is this also the address to meet at for the "Train Up"? I'm booked for 1 day of guided trainup and would like to do it on Tuesday. Can I arrive at this 'virtual address' Monday evening, park my ghetto pickup/cargo trailer and spend the night? Will anyone be around Monday evening? Thanks!

    Gunsmithing Remmy 700 bolt issues

Update: I called Mark, he got back to me and offered to fix it but not before I had purchased/installed a Timney trigger. Two lessons: 1) Listen to Mark. He told me from the get-go that I shouldn't use the factory trigger and should go with a Timney. I didn't listen to him and thus this. 2)...
