Re: Inexpensive Military Sniper Rifle Great shooting! The K-11 and K-31's are great shooters. I've only shot out to 225 yards, but have had excellent results with the Swiss GP-11 ammo. SAMCO has the GP-11 in stock.
Picked up some .308, LC Match, OFB cases and can't seem to get 'em to size correctly. Using the usual RCBS Full Length Sizing Die and have it maxed out. They've been cleaned and primed. Any thoughts or suggestions sincerely appreciated. Thank you in advance. Regards from Paul in AZ
Re: Scratches on Brass Just a crazy idea, but is your gun an H&K or clone, perhaps? If so, that might be the problem. The H&K guns put even ridges in the brass.
Re: My Local Seafood Store (Don't Look!) That's a great selection! Occasionally, we get some fresh fish out here in the Northwest Arizona boonies, but it was sure a lot easier to get it when we lived back in Upstate New York.
Re: Which DIES? I've been using a Dillon 550B for about five years. It's great and the factory support is second to none. Also, using Berry's Bullets in a couple of calibers and they seem to be fine. Good Luck!
Re: First Vintage precision rifle Thanks, John, I haven't tried casting bullets yet, either. Every day is a learning experience with reloading. I've been using H414 powder for 7mm and it seems to be working fine, so I'll give it a try with 8mm and see what happens. Because of the gun's...
Re: First Vintage precision rifle Joop........We did slug the bore and it came out to .318, even though the markings on the gun said it was updated to .323. So, I'm going to run some handloads and give it a go. Buffalo Arms had the .318 bullets.
