Re: S&B Quality issues? AFAIK - It's limited to the 12-50*56 only. I knew the Field Target had some issues but was really rather surprised to hear that the PMII was suffering - The 5-25*56PMII has never let me down.
Hi all I've been away for a while - but thought I'd mention this. Seems there have been some pretty serious issues with some S&B 12-50*56PMII scopes. No not the "airgun" version which has some issues too - but the F-Class versions. What? well I've heard first hand about scopes not focussing...

Re: cm and mil turrets OK then - here's a challenge. And no - I have not really bothered to work it all out. I like it here in Spain - the food's WAY better In the majority of scopes the image selection is indeed selected by a system describing an arc. But the system controlling it is...
Re: IOR 2.5-10x42 vs 2-12x32? Inputs needed! Give us a chance. I have a 2,5-10. The advantage (to me) is that this is available as a FFP scope. I have the FFP Mil-clicks version. 35mm tube offers a more adjustment- the smaller objective is substantially smaller. Whether you can live with...
Re: Is 2.5-10 too much scope for.... Why not a Premier V8? 1-8x and integrated auto-activated red-dot. OK price may be an issue. Cant wait to see one - I hope they have one at the IWA next week.
Re: Liberty Optics 2010 SHOT Show Report Scott - Just got to this. Great informative write up. I wish there was a way to sat and natter face to face and compare notes. Especially interested on your March and NF comments - I agree with the NF comments so I'll be a bit more cautious about...

Re: USO ST-10x44 w/ERGO vs SWFA SS 10x42HD That HD looks nice! Just to throw a spanner in - Anybody seen/handled the new Sightron 10x scope? (OK I know Chris@SWFA will have) as it has a rear PX too - always seemed just plain sensible to me. Just niggles that SWFA wont (or maybe cant or...
Re: Are S&B really that good S&B worth every penny. I'm after an 12-50 F-class to go with the 5-25. They also offer ME something that not everybody needs/wants - close focus. They're also FFP - which matters to me. In the US I'd have to say I'd look seriously at USO as well. They're after...

Re: IOR purchase in Europe That's a shame. But NOT entirely unexpected. I bought some KG stuff from Gary whilst he was still in the UK. He is now in Austria. KG stuff btw is also imported into the UK by Open Season +44 7771 607481

Re: Why such small objectives on CQT optics? If the Exit Pupil is TOO large there is more of a risk of Parallax error due to you being able to see despite your eye NOT being centred 100% behind the eyepiece. Low power scopes tend NOT to have PX adjustment.
Re: ScopeCover for SN9 10-42x80 I askedUSO if possible For LONG/Rough hauls - I generally use HARD cases. Things tend to bounce around in the back of a 15 year old Land Rover Discovery with overspec'd springs. tbh I don't think I'd use one with an SN9 I have similar things (with handles)...
Re: ScopeCover for SN9 10-42x80 I askedUSO if possible I think you're referring to this http://www.usoptics.com/get_image.php?aid=RTG Needs carry handles too! Would it not be better just to have a good drag bag?
