Can see heartbeat bounce crosshairs a lot. Issue with the stock (PRS)?

Excuuuuuuuuse me for missing his second post. Jesus, get a grip. It's clear I was talking about position with a sling since I missed that post. Anybody with half a brain knows there's a difference between the two. That's why there are slings and bipods....different.

Can see heartbeat bounce crosshairs a lot. Issue with the stock (PRS)?

Hmmm....couldn't get edit function to work. Anyway, I meant to mention that this was using an Anschutz free rifle with completely adjustable stock. You're going to have some movement due to pulse regardless of the stock.

Can see heartbeat bounce crosshairs a lot. Issue with the stock (PRS)?

I used to shoot competition smallbore, 4 position and pulse wobble came with the game. With multiple sweatshirts and shooting jacket and sling, all laced tight, you will still not eliminate movement due to pulse, you just need enough magnification on the scope to see it. I used a 20x Unertyl and...

    New Rifle Safe

Hinges are to allow the door to pivot. If the safe is well designed and made, you should be able to completely cut the hinges out of the safe and the integrity of the door would not be affected at all. And nothing will stop every theft. It's all just layers to slow them down. Mine is not going...

At what age did you really get into precision shooting?

Formally, when I was a teen and joined a smallbore jr. rifle team. I shot 4 position, 50ft and 100yds. during the summer out at Ft. Eustis. I got my NRA Distinguished Expert there. After that I shot on the Layfaette Gun Club team for a while. My last shot at glory was as Virginia State Champion...

    bullet shape question

Somebody else probably knows who I mean but I can't remember or find his name right now. There was someone who designed something like that, and worked it all out on paper with the physics of the air flow, etc. but when it came right down to it, I'm pretty sure no one ever got decent results...

    Moving from Texas to MD

Maryland is a divided state. Go far east and west in the state and you will find it very pro-gun, so it depends on where you're buying your land. The problem is the the population densities of three liberal counties, Baltimore, Montgomery and Prince Georges, are such that they can control the...

    Night Vision California "Sniperscope" definition

Well, we all know how many homicides and mass murders are the result of the availability of night vision. It's hard to believe our legislators got to this level of stupidity on their own, they surely must have studied. In the words of H. L. Mencken, (from memory, pardon any errors)...

Range Report Need advice on Light anti material use.

It seems to me you have no room to talk about paranoia here. You are the one talking about needing anti-material ammunition to protect your property against intruding vehicles. Either you are expecting trouble, which sounds paranoid and/or criminal to me, or you're not, in which case you'd be...

    Maggie’s Sports/Muscle car advice?

No Audi love? How about an RS4? I have an S4 Avant, last year for the NA 4.2 L v8. I've replaced brake pads, tires and a signal light, just usual stuff, and I'm at 70,000+ miles; it's a 2008 model. They are really sweet driving cars. They're not importing the Avants (wagons) at this level...

    rifle golf

Funny thread title...to me. Since I first started shooting, I've had this fantasy about shooting golf balls on a golf course. Kind of weird I guess, and I've never tried it, but it's definitely on my bucket list.
