Anyone tried putting their CDG in the Magpul Pro?

Yeah…I meant I wasn’t sure if all KRG models would be the same. Once I get the action and barrel I’ll be taking it to a gunsmith for some help with fitment. Last thing I want to do is screw up the first chassis or stock I get my hands on.

I’m ordering parts while waiting for my CDG LA to get here. Has anyone put a CDG in a KRG Bravo or MDT Oryx? Anyone see any issues with either of these?

I’m definitely not an actual shooter. I’m very new to precision shooting…so I’ll go with the graphite black cerakote. Gotta make sure no one confuses me for a professional.

What is going to be the best way to get a matching finish on a custom prefit barrel to the CDG action?

I currently have Vortex scopes on my 308 R700 and AR-15 and I'm pretty happy with them. I was looking at getting another Vortex Viper PST for my new 7 PRC build till I found out about the Arken scopes. Is the Vortex worth the much higher price tag compared to the Arken? Thanks for any advice...

That’s what I was assuming but I saw several videos of guys painting black stocks…just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

I’m about to buy a KRG Bravo and planning to paint a camo pattern similar to Kuiu Vias with OD green, desert tan, brown, light grey and small amount of black. Adding a pic of Kuiu Vias but I’d use a green instead of one of the greys. What color stock would I be better off starting out with...

Thanks for the heads up on the oryx! I’m in California so I won’t be getting a suppressor. Definitely will be using a brake and hearing protection though.

Thanks for the info on the barrel life. 1500 rounds would take me quite a while to send down range. I’ve got 2 little kids and the closest long range is about an hour drive.

What cartridge would you recommend for shooting from a shorter barrel if not the 7 PRC?

I’ll take a look at the weight differences of 20”, 22”, 24” and 26”.

Would you guys recommend the 22” or going with a 24-26” barrel? Any suggestions for different parts?
