I killed a bull elk with a 300 WM. Did a great job. Turned out to only be a 70 yard shot though. Much overkill for smaller animals IMO

I had one of theirs and IIRC their adjustment screw had to be set with loctite also. Lol- auto correct keeps trying to change "loctite" to "lactate".

Deadshot, according to what I measured in my chamber the 168's hit the lands at 2.86" which measured 2.225" on my comparator and the 178's hit the lands at 2.854" which was 2.219" on the comparator. I loaded both at mag length of 2.81" which put the 178's .006" closer the lands. I would need...

My gun likes the same load as rubicon- 168 Amax with 44.0 gr Varget. 178's not so much. I have a few 178's left but am completely out of 168's and can't find any. Anybody know where there are some 168's in stock?

Absolutely mobius. Here's 2 rifle length JP hand guards. One is on a 20" Lilja 308 barrel and the other is a 22" JP 6.5CM barrel.

I was on notification and got an email while I was shooting a pistol match and thought that these would be gone before I could get to a computer like usual, but actually ordered my limit of 2 about 2 hours later.

Newtrick, I dont know whether or not that really makes a difference, but I do it religiously myself just in case :)
