I have been using the LW die for about 20 years (which is about how long I've been a member here) am thoroughly acquainted with it, and therefore aware that it *is* possible to f it up. Except for you. You couldn't possibly have f'd it up, or even *entertain* the possibility that you f'd it up-...
Re: Question about US Optics PCMOA reticle As stated above. I have 2 USO's w/ PCMOA reticle. It is calibrated in IPHY, and the knobs are IPHY as well. Checked it myself against a yardstick @ 100 yards. 100% spot on. Reticle as well as tracking of the adjustments. BUY IT :-)
Re: Using a war-belt or vest for tactical comps I know which match you are talking about, I usually shoot it. I usually run a belt with just the basics: Pistol, pistol ammo, rifle ammo, LRF (not really needed) dump pouch to dump my empties in (pockets work just as well). All the rest, ie...
Re: Density Altitude Pete: Actually, I'm not leery of electronic gadgets, I usually embrace them. Just been scrod by them enough times to know they f' up when you need them most. Yes, I have a Kestrel that I use to get the D/A, but I also have a chart to compute D/A, all I have to know is...

Re: Tips/Drills to get ready for ASC Fall match 160 rounds is usually adequate for both days, that would be the max, if you never got a first round hit. I have missed maybe one ASC since 2005, and my data book shows 105 to 110 rounds to shoot the whole match, every time, so unless something...
Re: 208-210 RANGE REPORT.. I had a shitty lot of Berger 210 VLDs awhile back. Compared to the previous lot I had, the meplat was huge, and the ogive was a bit different. Didn't need to pull out measuring tools to see this, it was completely apparent to the naked eye. I had to use 2 gr. more...
Re: Tips/Drills to get ready for ASC Fall match Bill pretty much nailed it, but here's my 2 cents.... Travel as light as you can, just essentials. The less tired you are, the better you'll shoot. Rifle with a good sling, some like to carry their rifle in a drag bag or folding rifle...
Re: &1000.00 on $500.00 gun???????? I've got a $2k USO on a $1k rifle. The sighting system is the most important part of the gun. Without it, you can't hit anything. Besides, good glass is an investment that will last a lifetime, and can outlast several rifles. Marc
Re: BAR tactical rifle? Arms Tech's Super Match Interdiction Rifle- It's built on a modified BAR action, with a stainless barrel, and a MCM A-2 stock. Fricken BAD ASS, LOL http://www.armstechltd.com/products.php?id=smir_rifle
Re: Angle indicator: Which one? I do like the ACI better than the Horus device, but not because you can calibrate the zero. Both indicators read out in 5 degree increments. 20 MOA is only one third of a degree. You won't see it. Marc

Re: Angle indicator: Which one? Cosine indicator is the way to go. Eliminates a step. I don't care what the angle is in degrees, I just need to know the cosine of the angle. Flat dope x cosine gets REAL close, and it's fast. Quicker (and more accurate) than the Mildot Master Method...
Re: OCW/Round robin with a B.O.S.S. Time, barrels, and reloading components cost money. I would take my .5 MOA accident, and drive it like I stole it! Marc
Re: TVP steel shoot May 23rd 10:00 A.M. I'll take a blonde and a brunette, on the rocks... with salt, please This weekend is probably kinda short notice to mobilize for, but may get out there to the next one! Marc
Re: help barrel will not clean Wipe-Out. It's the shiznit. In my opinion anyway.... I'm sure someone will chime in soon to say it's crap, it doesn't work, it works TOO well, or it doesn't work at all.... BUT I LOVE IT http://www.sharpshootr.com/wipeout.htm
Re: Advice on Spotting scope with mil reticle I have a USO spotter, I bought it for ranging UKD targets, because it's MOA reticle matches the ones in my USO scopes. It is very good for that- but as Our Fearless Leader said, it's not really a true spotter for use on the range. The field of...
Re: 300 Win Mag or 338 Lapua I remember someone saying recently,"I <span style="font-style: italic">thought</span> I bought a rifle chambered for .338 Lapua.... but actually, it shoots Five-Dollar-Bills." .300WM with heavy bullets will take you to 1600 yards, for alot less money. The Lapua...
