Re: scope rings base set up advice sought yeah, as stated above you'll need a 20moa rail to get you that extra height adjustment. And yes, Badger Ordinance have fantastic rings. I also like the Nightforce rings personally.- tex762

Re: Looking to possibly make a geographical move... Texas has faired pretty well through most of this recession. Any of the major cities should have available employment. Houston or Dallas would prob be my first choice. San Antonio or Austin are great too.- tex762

Re: Price of an LMT 308 upper I have the 16 inch chrome lined. Ive been very happy with the accuracy so far. with a 15 power scope i can hit 4" at 300 yds on my best days with match ammo. I know the rifle is capable of so much better i need to practice!- tex762

Re: shooting tracers Be sure the range you're shooting them at allows them. None of the ranges around here, indoors or outdoors, allow them. Outdoor ranges I can understand, we dont want any more grass fires.- tex762
