If I put the sizing die all the way down to the shell holder, it creases the casing up by the shoulder. I have to have some space.

918, I am setting the brass size to the to the full length sizing die as this ammunition is for an AR10/Semi on a 6.5CM, not a bolt action rifle. If I am understanding you correctly.

factory winchester that I bought today for a shoot test is .465. Redding dies and using Sig Brass that I have only shot out of this rifle.

question, when setting the die height, I put my ram all the way up, then screw down the full length resizing die until it touch's the ram and back off 1/2 turn? Is this the correct setting? My reloads are sticking into the chamber where factory ammo is not. The base of my re-sized case...

I'm using a using a blemished Rubber City BCG with 21" Lothar barrel w/rifle length gas tube and adjustable gas block. Larue trigger. Everything worked with no fussing, just set the gas block. I was actually surprised as I was expecting the worst.

The only differences between an armalite and dpms is upper receiver rail height, take down pin length, barrel nut threading and gas tube length. I am pretty sure that's it but I could be in error.

Be interested to hear how this all works out for you. I have the same rifle and I bought an extra upper and handguard from Matrix Aero several years ago. Haven't built it yet but will someday.

Right hand/left eye dom. I bought the stealth BA in 6.5 and it's not a bad rifle. Didn't really want a savage, but after 850 for the rifle and 1000 for the scope, that's a chunk of change. I don't compete, just shoot for fun so really no reason to spend more. PVA is offering the Hancock rifle...

I have 2 boxes of Hornady .224 75gr Amax 100 bullets per box #22792. This bullets will NOT work in an AR15 .556 cartridge (too long). Will trade for any bullet type in .223/556, .45 acp, 6.5 creedmore of equal value. Those boxes of bullets run about $21.00. Face to face trade only with anyone...

That is a stupid remark. The military uses .308 and the civilian benefit is loads of inexpensive surplus ammo. That's is why I use military calibers. The military also offers education benefits to high school graduates that otherwise would not be able to afford higher education. Terrific...

It's also over $1000.00 more than the savage. I used that 1k to purchase an Athon Cronus.

As a left handed shooter I had no options execpt the Savage so I got a Stealth BA10 and haven't looked back.

After Daniel Defenses recent blunder with FixNICS, I wouldn't buy anything from them (nice gear though).
