So a few years ago I got a TBAC 30P-1, I had my barrel threaded 5/8x24 by my gunsmith and I had tried it with a few different brakes with no problems. When I screwed the TBAC can on it was fine for a couple trips to the range and then it seized. I had to send the barreled action back to TBAC...
I bought a Viper PST 6-24x50 SFP MRad for my .338 LM and I have had excellent customer service. I will be replacing it though because it doesn't have enough elevation travel to get me to 1740yds without using full travel, and dialing the magnification back to 6x and a 2.5 mil holdover. It gets...
That was mine. I have a hard time believing that the tools that Tom Sarver used to thread the barrel were wrong. I have had several other items threaded onto the barrel and only had the chatter with the TBAC can. He had the can in hand when he threaded it and matched everything. Would it...
I love the can. It is the quietest can I've ever (not) heard. There was very minimal POI shift. I am very pleased with the can overall, just frustrated with the whole situation of it being stuck. My gunsmith machined the threads to CNC specs, I tried several muzzle brakes an they all threaded...
So i got my can finally and it sounds great but after only 20 rounds, I am absolutely furious. The suppressor is stuck halfway. It threaded on smoothly but it was a little tight. I noticed the threads on the can itself were a little rough but I thought they would smooth out after a little use...

The policy is in the process of being changed at DA currently. The new policy states, among other appearance related subjects, that any tattoos that are visible in a PT uniform are not authorized for new recruits or current soldiers and any existing must be removed at the cost of the soldier...
PowerRocks has some great products. I keep a PowerRocks 2 in my flight helmet bag. I get 4 charges for my iPhone or 2 for my iPad and it allows you to charge two devices at once. It will hold a charge for 45 days if not used. I have found it to be really useful.
Shrinking them down is a great idea. I think i'm going to do that and put it in my data book. I'm never without it at the range. Thanks for the idea, hdfireman.
