Crestview Florida is 2339 miles/33hrs from me.. HAHAHHAHAHAHAH that is waaaayyyyyyy to far to drive. If I need to get an oil change before I drive home then that means its too far. HAHAHA
damn Florida is too far to drive. haha.. looking at flights now. If this is half as fun as teh Hide Cup was this year then i really need to shoot this!!
A quick question.. are we going to be able to pick up our brass after each stage? Or do we need to have something to catch it with? I would hate to just write off 200+ pieces of lapua or nosler brass.. thank you!
Any more word on the dates? I have three guys hoping to come out for the match and we needed to pin down the dates. We are really looking forward to it reguardless of when it is. Thanks
It will change the barrel harmonics and on top of that it will actually cause the barrel to flex and throwyour shot off.. Im sure if you shot off a bipod or a shooting bag so that nothing touches your barrel then you would be far less frustrated. let us know how everything turn out.
Sorry guys. I work for a shipping company and its just been crazy the last few days.. I just got on here to post the measurements and it looks like my slow as got beat by SABuzzard. Haha. Thanks for coming to the rescue man. Again I'm sorry I couldn't post earlier guys..
If nobody responds to help you out, I can tell you the length when I get home from work in about 11hrs.. I can tell you that it is one of my favorite rifles to shoot. It weighs close to nothing, the mag is easy to load and the bolt is smooth. Plus ammo is cheap and its more accurate that I...
Very nice looking rifle. I love the color choice too. Ive been out goofing off in the hills lately and havent seen one damn coyote. I think they all went into hiding. hahah. I heard a few at dusk when I was out past the prison on Plesant Valley, but not a one from Willow Creek all the way over...
20" Kreiger, M2008 action.. Lapua brass, 43.5g H4350 and 139g Scenars get me 2825fps.. everything the same but using 42.5gr of AA4350 gets me 2750fps.. That was measured at 3000ft elevation, and usally i shoot higher elevation.. shooting it at sea level in CA means i can pretty much throw away...
here is a couple pics of my 260, and one of my friends son having some fun behind the trigger. Badger 2008 action krieger barrel cut to 20" 1in8 AICS 2.0 stock Rifle Basix trigger AAC cyclone can Good ole Vortex Razor hd she love 139gr scenars and 140gr hornady match. Its not...
So we went out shooting ELR this weekend with my friends 408 cheytac and i brought along my 260 to see what i could do. conditions were roughly a 5mph head wind, and pressure was 29.85.. We started at 1400yrds and after throwing a few 419gr projectiles down range at 2900fps, i decided to get...
was using 43.2gr of H4350 with 139gr Lapua Scenars out of a 20" Kreiger at 2500ish ft of elevation and chrono 2835fps.. I have not run the new AA4350 loads over a chrono yet. But i am very currious to see how close the numbers are.
Thanks. I actually bought 1lb of the aa4350 and loaded a few rounds and went and shot it. It shoots really well. I noticed no differance between that and the H4350. So i went back and bought 5 more lbs of it. HAHAHA.. i would of bought more but thats all they had. Definatly a good substitute for...
Mine stays supersonic to about 1450yrds with 139gr lapua scenars and 43gr of H4350. I regularly shoot out to 1000yrds, but last weekend we ranged a target at 1385yrds and hit it on the second shot and then followed it up with 3 more hits. Target was about 36"x36".. I absolutly love both those...
Figured I post a pic just to show some Savage love. haha.. Picked up this Savage 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor a week or so ago. Had a friend thread and recrown the barrel. Then added a Warne base with a Vortex Razor on top and an AAC Cyclone can on the end. I really like the plam swell on the HS...
