If you are shooting a red dot there is no use to see the front sight, I would remove it. But the red dot directly on the target and then zero it.

I costs me about $.85 to reload 6.5 Creedmoor not counting brass. Good factory loads are about $2.00. You have to shoot a lot to cover the cost of the equipment. I've reloaded over 100,000 rounds.

I've got a JP GMR-13 with 16,000 through it, all my reloads. I shoot 124 JHP bullets and load 1.120". 4.2 Tite Group = 1196 FPS, 4.9 Longshot = 1159, 4.1 Win 244 = 1098.

A lot of your parts are JP, just buy a JP. If there is any problem they will provide very good customer service. I bought my first JP in 2005 still going well with 15,000 rounds through it (I did replace the barrel). I also have a JP PCC with 17,000 rounds through it, no issues and original...

I've only been shooting an AR-15 for 25 years. The longest I've shot is 700 yards. I liked a Nightforce SHV 4-14 and Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18. I'm not shooting the long distances today and am a running a 1-6.

Unless the dot and its base was specifically designed to match your iron sights It probably won't line up.
