    In doing some online "research", I've heard this, but noone has produced any actual results from a chrono. If I had one, I'd do a before and after study.

    Anyone have any guidance? Do I need to choose a thermal clip-on, before I choose my scope mount height/cant? I'm planning on getting the Trijicon IR Hunter MK II 35MM Thermal Scope to use as a clip-on. Looks like it sits pretty low, so I'll be using an adapter to raise it up off the rail.

    Tikka Tac A1 forend swap?

    I am also wondering if anyone has weighed the Tikka Tac A1 OEM handguard? I'm looking at the BLK LBL integrated bipod/handguard replacement in 14" which weighs 1.6 lbs or the 16" which weighs 1.8 lbs. Trying not to add to much weight vs the OEM handguard with a separate quality bipod.

    I'm curious to see how much lighter it would be with the 6.5 Ultralight barrel, considering mine is the older model with the stock upgraded to the A1 stock with the monopod. The newer SRS A2 is over 2lbs lighter than even the A1. Right now, my SRS is probably about 13 lbs with the 26" 300 WM...

    I've heard that alot about the Tikka. If I go with it, I'll be upgrading the barrel to the Proof Research barrel, and lighten it up more.
