    Re: headspace question... Ok I went ahead and chambered the same bullet about 10 times and pulled it out and looked at the case, the only bright spots on the case are on the very back of the case head where it contacts the bolt and on the shoulder. Looks like I should be able to back it off...

    I just rebarreled one of my savages to 6.5 creedmoor and the bolt closes easily on a go gauge and I put a .002 piece of paper on the back of my go gauge and it doesnt close, good right? Well I tried a loaded factory hornady case and I get resistance closing the bolt... What do you guys think...
