If I'm not mistaken it is a Sagem Sword Sniper. Here is a link to some info on it http://www.sagem.com/IMG/pdf/D1364E-Sword_Sniper.pdf. It seems to be a 3 in 1 scope that works as a thermal, telescopic sights, and a laser rangefinder.

So far from first looks its gone above expectations. It's very clear, the reticle is easy to use, it has great eye relief, and it's not too heavy. I can't wait to get it zeroed in and try the zero stop as well as adjustments at different distances.

It's a Vortex Viper PST 6x24x50 FFP with the Moa turrets and reticle.

That's was my idea as well, and the 308 is pretty affordable. I hope the deal works out for you. I actually got mine off of here, the rifle that is.

I'm hoping she will be the "one" for me too. The previous owner posted some great groupings of what they did. I have a feeling that this setup will shoot better than I will be able to for a while. But hey you have to start somewhere right? :p

Only once to make sure it functioned correctly. I am waiting to find some ammo so that I can get her zeroed in and then see what she's capable of.

It's a Remington 700 VS in 308.

Just wanted to post with an update. I have gotten a rifle and began setting things up on it. I'm hoping I am attaching the picture correctly. I do have higher quality pictures on my camera that I can upload later.
