Same here. These are all I ever build my guns with. If you wait for the holidays you can pick up Geissele SSA-E (2-stage) triggers for 170-180 bucks at Palmetto, AR Discounts and Primary Arms. Brownells occasionally sells 'em for ~ $190 during the same holiday sales but you get their...
My career involved partially involved making both prototype and production high precision gizmos and Mitutoyo was the go-to for all aspects of hand-held quality control measurements. When I retired, one of my friends presented me with a 70th Limited Anniversary Set including both calipers and...
I understand this was posted a little over 4 years ago, but this is well worth bringing up again. Excellent considerations which are often overlooked.. Thanks Bohem. Is it possible for you to clean up chambers and turn a bowl of turd into an acceptable cake? What's the name of your company...
I know this is almost 3 years old, but I'm wondering if there's any others out there experiencing problems with X-Caliber. I purchased an AR 375 Raptor barrel from them and the bullets appear to be jamming and empty cases are sticking as well. Just tried it out yesterday and had a wasted trip to...

I purchased a reamer for my 338 RUM build from PTG. It shattered and close inspection showed material defects. After sending it back, PTG acknowledged this and stated I'd get a refund. After numerous follow up calls to them, and many promises by them, I finally was reimbursed ... 17 months...
Completely agree. It's true of anything in my case ...when I'm adversely sensitized to anything, I end up specifically looking for it. Love Vortex products and have many ranging from . Have you tried to discuss this with them? Outstanding customer service.
Looking at the pic with case still in the breech, the blown of brass appears to be in same area as the extractor with the bolt in battery. Ill bet it has something to do with the extractor to brass interface
308? 500y? OK. Pushing it to 1000Y with a 308 becomes more iffy. Even with heavy pills and no wind the ave supersonic to subsonic range is right in that 900 to 1100 arena, depending. The OP could do extremely well with something less high dollar than S&B., NF, US Optics, etc. It's not...
