Remington 700P question
Badger Ordnance will inlet the stock for the M5 pattern for $75 if I remember right. Definitely a small price to pay if your dremel skills leave something to be desired! Then you could drop in the M5 pattern dbm of your choice...- bdotley

Accessories WTB: KAC SR-25/M110 DOUBLE HIGH PICATINNY GAS BLOCK
I got mine from Operation Parts, brand new from KAC. I just did an in stock notification through their website and bought one the second I got the email saying they were back in stock. They still get them from time to time, just have to wait and be ready...- bdotley

Rifle Scopes Steiner M5Xi Price
I have a very lightly used Steiner M5Xi 5-25x56 scope with the MSR reticle that I am going to try to sell. It would come with Badger Ordnance rings. My question is what is a realistic price to ask for it as a used scope? Any advice would be appreciated!- bdotley

Which Hide smith to make a thread protector endcap for a Rem 700 5R?
Brad Johns at Phoenix Custom Rifles did my entire build, he blends the thread caps to where you can't see where it starts or ends. He did a blended recessed target crown typ end cap on mine, amazing work. And on the small odds and ends type jobs they usually have turn around times of 2 or 3...- bdotley

I would say buy a Stiller custom action and build a 260 Rem on it but... Based on what you've said, true the 700 action and put a 20" 1 in 10 twist barrel on it. The 10 twist will work for all of the heavier bullets that will work better at the longer ranges you mentioned. Badger for the 20 moa...- bdotley

Suppressors Do I really need to use an 18" rather than 24" barrel with a .308 suppressor?
I would get the 24" and cut it back if I found it didn't work for me. My 308 is a 20" and I exclusively run suppressed and it makes for a well balanced package...- bdotley

Suppressors Best 308 Suppressor
I run a Liberty Suppressors Freedom Mag on my custom 308. Very quiet and shoots like a dream. I got it for just under 800 but wish I would have gone with the Victory Mag since it's a bit lighter. Empty rifle/scope/silencer package runs about 18 lbs...- bdotley

Rifle Scopes Steiner 5-25 vs. Kahles 624i
I also bought the Steiner with the MSR from Scott a few weeks back. Amazing scope at an amazing price. The illumination knob has off positions in between all 11 settings, second rotation indicator from 14 mils to 15 mils is freakin sweet, even came with BC flip up caps. Gunsmithing Patch Stuck in Bore
How would you suggest doing this? I currently have a boresnake stuck in a 20in barreled 308. The smith that built it suggested I heat the stripped barreled action to heat up the snake/patch to get it more pliable. How hot can you take it to accomplish this?- bdotley
