Update on the can. I should be getting paperwork back for the thunderbeast hopefully in the middle of November. Just sent the barrel off to have cut down to 16 and threaded or the suppressor. I'll put some pics up hen I get the barrel back and put back together.

It was in stock. Silencer shop sent me an email saying it would take 2 to 4 weeks to do the sot transfer and ship to my missouri dealer. I was just curious, I've been reading that the ATF hired more people to help speed up the process, but was wondering if the wait was still 6 to 7 months.

It's definitely the 308. I'm just concerned with if it effects the accuracy. Has anyone had to change any reloading recipes or are you able to run the same ammo you are currently loading?

Kiwi black is what I've used on the two rem 700's I've done. Lay it on thick and you should have no problem with it releasing.

I also think 168 can be shot out to 1000 just fine, I've seen videos of people shooting out to a mile with a 308 and scoring hits, but my question is the 168 amax better suited for a 1000 yards, more than the Sierra 168?

So I loaded up some hornady 178's under 43 grains of varget and went to the range. Ok groups at 100 and 200 yards, but they sucked at 300. I had previously shot...

I have a rem sps tactical with a 1:12 twist and I use 168 hpbt over 10 grains of trail boss. It will put 5 shots in practically the same hole at 50 yards. I've played with 168 and 8 grains of clays and it is stable at 100, just not as accurate.
