I know the OP made a choice but I recently picked up a S&W MP10 with Magpul furniture. I was pleased with it's relatively light weight. I've only got 20 rds through it so far but it seems promising. I bought more for hunting so was looking for something lighter.
It was just me and another guy. First Headhunter for him so no score sheet. No cookies either! The wind seemed faster than usual and I didn't shoot very well.
I believe you need a special L-shaped tool. The safe at work has the S&G lock and it came with a re-setting tool, and instructions. Twenty years ago the tool was about $5.
