    I use a Gemtech Trek on a 16" 'semi-precision' gun. The gas system is a midlength, and I've increased the buffer weight so that I don't beat up the gun too much. I really like mine, and I've walked all around Colorado and Texas shooting at critters with it.

    Ejection issues with M855 green tip gremlins

    I had the same issue, almost exactly: .223 Wylde from Rainier Arms, carbine gas system, FTE on M855. My fix was to break the rifle in. I shot some steel cased plinker stuff through it, and it has worked fine since then. I chalked that one up as 'the barrel/BCG combo had to wear themselves in'.

    H4350 dpms lr-260

    I load a tangent-profiled bullet (123gr Nosler CC or 120 AMAX). This allows me to seat off the lands where the gun likes it and still maintain an OAL that fits in a PMAG.

    DPMS .260 first 3 loads

    123 gr Nosler CC 41.0 gr H4350 Fed 210 Primer LC LR 12 Brass necked down and then neck turned this gives me 2695fps without the can and 2710 with the can. ETA: the gun is an LMT MWS with a factory 20" stainless .260 barrel.
