Long range accuracy is a simple push button. They also offer longer or shorter legs if needed. I had them make me custom length carbon legs for one of mine. Pricey but nice. I certainly can’t blame the equipment when I miss.
I’ll respond to my own post in case someone has this same question in the future. Nobody seems to know or wants to call back about how the factory bipod spigot mount comes out. I was fortunate enough the founder of LRA bipods had a prototype rail he gave me that I didn’t even need to remove the...
They have a prototype but they tightened up the tolerances a bit to much on the cant so it doesn’t move as freely when loose. They’re trying to find just the right balance.
When he started the company he wasn’t prepared for the demand he saw. He’s a machinist that came up with a great design and decided he would take a chance at selling them. Realizing he couldn’t keep up with demand he tried to partner up with a friend that ended up backing out and tried to copy...
I’m friends with the founder of LRA bipods. He has made a couple moves to help ramp up production. I believe they also locked up a contract with browells at shot this year. Keep your eyes open as they are in my opinion the best bipods available. Just ask anyone that’s ever used one. Here’s a...
I recently purchased a used accuracy international mkiii that I’d like to get a picatinnny rail for the bottom of so I can run my LRA bipods. I found The anarchy outdoors spigot mount adapter that’s listed to work but I’m awaiting verification of that. The video on their site shows the at model...
This is the rifle. So I’m guessing they just used it as a spacer. Seems to me with a little ingenuity I could make this adjustable up and down and rotate.
While unboxing a used AI MKIII I just purchased I noticed something loose in the butt stock. After taking the two Allen’s out of the pad I noticed a nut that slides up and down in a groove with no bolt of any sort. It appears to be some sort of vertical adjustment but the two Allen’s that hold...
I posted in the for sale section hoping people considering buying or selling expensive items would know before hand what they’re getting into. Perhaps it’s better off buried in a spot nobody will see it. Sorry. Looking forward to reading about how much this upset you in the bear pit.
Beware shipping anything right now. Especially expensive rifles etc. I purchased an accuracy international rifle from a member on here. He was quick to get usps the rifle. Tracking and everything started quickly. It was supposed to deliver on the 20th. Then when it didn’t show up it tracking...
Zip 18235. I have up to 2000 federal gold 210m match primers to trade for equal amount of cci450 small rifle magnum. Also interested in Vihtavuori N570 8lb to trade for also. Plus money on my end of course. Not looking to take advantage of anyone or be taken advantage of. Looking to make a fair...
The trg action is to nice a piece of equipment for me to learn on. I would give up while the action is straight. If you must continue doing it yourself keep me in mind for the trigger and stock if you damage the action. Just sayin.
You really can’t go wrong with Short action customs, Patriot Valley or GAPrecision. Trg barrels are known to be very hard to break free. I would have it done professionally at least for the first rebarrel. I was recently in the same boat and for me it seemed like each company backed a different...
