I've had my remington 700 sps tactical just not the treaded AAC barrel. I'm going to maybe hunt and try some 800 plus yard shots. This is just my first high end bolt gun. I even considered the 300wm but changed my mind.

It all depends on what u want to spend. Then you have to consider gas or piston. If you want to stay cheap you can get dpms for $999 but you get what you pay for. The pof is a great weapon but my personal favorite is the scar 17.

I agree with RRA. I have had my tac operator 2 for years and never had an issue.

I like the Magpul UBR it is a very nice stock it allows u to keep ur eyes on target while moving into comfortable shoulder range.

The scar 17 is a nice option in the .308 I have used one for years and can't beat it
