^Thanks for that info. I guess another alternative is just to go with an aftermarket bottom metal that uses AICS pattern mags. No milling needed from what I'm told.- EasySlick

Hey guys. I'm looking to hopefully get a definitive answer. Will the CTR bottom metal/mags work and function properly with my T3 Tactical (not T3X)? I'm looking to drop my barreled action into a CTR inletted McMillan stock. Some guys swear they've done it no problem, and some guys say "no way...- EasySlick

Quick question. Would my Tikka T3 Tactical barreled action drop right into a McMillan stock inletted for a CTR without any modification to the stock or receiver? I read I'd have to remove the T3's mag retaining spring/clip. I'd be using the CTR bottom metal/mags. Thanks in advance. Below is my gun.- EasySlick

^Thanks. Yeah, I had a TRG-22 (which I sold like a dope) and this gun does seem very similar. I don't know if it's the finish or the feel, but it's there. I wish I could find a McMillan or Manners to throw it in, as I'm not really a chassis guy.- EasySlick

I found a T3 Tactical .308 on GB the other day. I made an offer on it 5 minutes after it was listed and the guy accepted (I think I paid a bit too much). It looks like it only had maybe a box or two through it. I might throw it in a B&C Comp/Tact. stock.- EasySlick
