Sig Sauer SSG 3000 full write up and myths clarified.

I purchased an SSG 3000 all German in 2003. I was totally fixated on handgun and carbine at the time and it sat, "virgin" in my stock for 10 years. Last year I got the precision rifle "bug"...and I now have a heroin level addiction. During a recent long course at Academi (aka Blackwater) I...

Rifle Scopes Spuhr mount with SB PMII 4-16

Spuhr with SB 4x16 I have that combination on a "vintage" (2003) Sig SSG 3000. The Spuhr doesn't leave a great deal of envelope to move the scope if your eye relief is a problem. Fortunately, it is just about right for my eye (McMill stock) so it proved to be fine. I might add, it is an...

The great 6.5mm vs. .308 Bullet Debate, but with TERMINAL BALLISTICS

    ssg 3000 barrel

I bought an SSG 3000 12 years ago, but got totally absorbed in handgun competition at the time and it sat idle as a "virgin" for 10 years. My son took it to our first long range course, and I must say, it truly is a "tack driver". Nice piece of equipment.

terminal ballistics Thank you very much. I am indebted to Sniper Hide for all I have learned here over the last year. terminal ballistics I have spent a year following Snipers Hide and have learned a great deal from the members excellent database. I have never posted as I am still on the learning curve of long range skills. After years of handgun competition...I am now addicted to long range. I felt...
