There are people who like the old style better (you can find them in this very thread). I personally like the new style just fine. So if someone wanted to trade a new style for my old style (both freshly coated by GA in FDE), it would be a side grade at the most. It is all about preference good sir.- hurtbringer

I ordered my OBR 7.62 when I was in Afghanistan and paid in full the day I ordered it (Oct 25th of 2012) and could not wait for a Texan boy to put his hands on a Texas built AR. I'm with Ballista One on this, not the insult part, but the lube part. GA and I had don't really see eye to eye on the amount of lubrication needed. I run a shit ton, why? If you are wanting an AR-10 that is accurate but is light weight? I would drop the LaRue and grab you a JP LRP-07. Gunbroker has 3 or 4 right now for about the same price as an OBR.
