Help me find a quality precision rifle under $1000
I like the Remington options especially because of aftermarket items. The standard 700 long range doesn't come in .308. After looking around I found that the SPS varmint is the same action and barrel as the 700P. So I think I should get the varmint and put a new stock on it. What would you all...- Shadow7.62

Help me find a quality precision rifle under $1000
I don't like the stock or the barrel. I had to tape foam to it so I could get a proper cheek weld and I can't run the gun as long as I would like because of the heat. The accuracy is great even when using cheap ammo. It's a great hunting gun and would do good for whoever I sell it to.- Shadow7.62
