    NF 4-20x50 or 5-25x56

    Currently building a new 223 bolt action and trying to decide on a scope for it. I already have a 6.5 w/NF 5-25x56 (Mil-Xt) and thinking of getting a NF 4-20x50 for the 223. Since the 223 probably won't be used beyond 600 and mostly 200-300, I'm thinking the 4-20 would be a good choice. But...

    Rifle Scopes Advice on which Spuhr mount for my setup

    I got a nice deal on a new SB 5-25x56 PMII that I'm going to mount on a Defiance Deviant action that's in an AI/AX chassis. I'm going to use a Spuhr ISMI mount, but am having a problem deciding which one. The problem is that the 34mm ring size models that are 3mil (10.3moa) or 6mil (20.6moa)...

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce NXS PTL - WTF?

    So I finally got my hands on one of the new Nightforce add-on PTLs for the NXS scopes. I installed the thing and found the fit is just crap. There's about a .100" gap where the ring clamps together, and only a couple of threads holding it shut. I was thinking this might be the wrong model...

    Been lurking for a while and finally decided to sign up. Lots of good info here. I've been building 1911s and competing in IPSC for almost 20 years. Also doing a lot of 3-gun stuff lately. Never had an opportunity to do much with precision rifle but started doing a little about a year ago...
