H335 with 175gr SMK and Varget with 178gr AMAX

I run 42.3gr Varget over 178gr AMAX, and 40.7gr H-335 over 175gr SMK's out of a Savage 10FCP-SR. they shoot great! Problem i have is the Adaptive card is way off. Im not sure what my velocity is but i know at 500 meters it says around 3.7mils adjustment at 2550fps and 3.4mils at 2700fps. my...

Alot of people say its temp sensitive but here in Washington state ive never had any issues with H335. I run 40.7grs of H335 over 175gr SMK's and love the load all the way to 700 meters(never shot farther yet). Also run the 178gr AMAX over Varget.

Love my sonic cleaner. 3 rounds @ 480 seconds and brass looks great!

I found it on Hodgdons website. That's what they published using Varget with a 140gr bullet. I don't know burn rates yet as I'm fairly new to reloading. So I guess I'm just curious if the rate matches what your saying why they publish Varget so much lower?

Dan that seems high. The Hodgdons data that I referenced on the 140gr SFT load has a max load of 43.7gr of Varget, and a start load of 41grs.

Im loading my Nephews .270win so he can get some range time with me and im looking for data for the Sierra GameKing 140gr HPBT using Varget. Hodgdons offers data online but its for the 140gr SFT SP witch has a significant higher BC, So im not sure this data would be ok to try and use. Any help...
