I'll out myself... Yesterday I was shooting an OG Aluminum-Lithium Hodge AU Mod 2 gun fitted with a new Geissele CHF heavy barrel (which is a fucking laser BTW!). On top was a Schmidt Dual CC. Fuckin' peak bouge circa 2019. Even for what I paid for that once-unobtainium gun and stupid...- dms416

Well, the lock back issue was not gas system related but in relation to the Geissele follower and my catch. I will not be going any lower or lighter…if anything I’ll bump things up and see- dms416

The optics of the K16i Kahles are close but at nearly 2x the price and their fucked up reticles, the Gen 2 is an easier call. IMHO, this for the price is the reason the Gen 2 is still relevant. Maybe only Kahles and SAI 1-6's are in the conversation of eye box and FOV and only the Vortex and Kahles have that "edges disappear" akin to a red dot. 100% why my close-quarters setup now has a Kahles Helia 1-5x24. I'd...- dms416
