my rem 700 build
Looking to transition from AR's to long range shooting. Have pretty much decided on the Remington 700 platform to start more specifically the 20" with the threaded barrel. Since that's where you started is there anything that I should give serious consideration to and or stay away from.- Kauaicop

AR , cheaper to build or buy ?
Build it. By building it you have everything you want in the end and don't have to spend time replacing parts to get what you want. As far as cost goes you will probably end up spending more.
