Sighting mine in tomorrow. Will give a report. Also don't be an idiot like me and realize the turrets have TWO set screws when you set your turrets to zero
got mine today after 5 months..... It's a giant beast!!! BUT a lovely one. I have it in the 6x6 burris XT rings on a seekins 20MOA base. I like how it comes from the factory setup for a 20MOA base
Well got my package from Burris today..... just the rings unfortunately so I guess I'm on the waiting list too. My 700 5r looks funny with the scope base and the lower half of the rings on it
I did it through the Leo purchase program direct from Burris. I got the shipping confirmation and was charged. Hopefully they are sending me the scope and not 1000 bucks worth of scope rings lol
I went bcm. I absolutely love it. Tack driver supreme. Only thing to be aware of, bravo CO's are match chambers so you will get stuck cases if you shoot 223 instead of 556
Just picked up a Remington 700 5R with the 20" bbl. That alone pretty much broke the bank. In any of your opinions, would a Nikon Monarch 3 6-24x50 be good for about 800-1000? I've heard people say bad things about Nikons, but I've never had any problems. I'm TRYING to keep the price around...
I guess I've always used Nikon's. I'm going to try and work my way back up to around 800-1000 yards. It will be a paper puncher, not rolling around in the mud. The Monarch 3 will be good out to about 800, I'm really trying to keep the initial scope at about $500 until I can build up enough...
I got a deal on a new Remington 700 5R 20" threaded. I'm going to put a Nikon Monarch 3 with a 50mm bell on it. Everyone says put Seekins rings on it, which I agree with, but the scope is a 1" tube and they don't offer any different height rings other than lows. Will this present any problem...
