    Need help in deciding caliber

    Will be shooting at 600, 800 and 1000 and was looking at 308 or 30-06 help me decide as I have a chance to purchase a m40a1 type rifle in 308 or let it pass and have 30-06 built. Would probably use 175'smk barrel on m40 is 11.25 twist at 24. Would do you think. I am learning how to reload...

    Rifle Scopes Deciding on a Scope for the 300 winmag???

    My local gun shop has a Burris Extreme Tactical with Ballistic MilDot for $888.00. From the experts opinions, if I'm going to save up some cash for a good scope, should I go with the Burris, or are there better scopes out there for that same amount of cash? As always, thanks for any info...

    help in deciding on first precision rifle

    Guys, need some input on selecting my first precision rifle, something I can get my hands on by summer and be respectable with by November when deer season starts here in TN. I don't think there is time to wait for a new GAP or Tac Ops. I am considering a used GAP for sale on the forums here...
