so im working on rechambering a mosin and i know what youre thinking.... why waste the time. not for me its for a customer. im a gunsmith and ive done a few remingtons and savages in the past but never a mosin. i cantseem to find any info on how to blue print the barrel so that i wont blow...

My friend just picked up a M44. His fired brass measure around .055 longer than the loaded milsurp shit he bought for it. Is this excessive? Does anyone have a SAMMI reamer print for 7.62x54R? Thanks guys....

Ammo was some surplus MG ammo from the seige of Stalingrad. 110grn RN bullet jacket only filled with plastic. Total bullet weight was about 36 grains, made for short distance mowing down of personnel. No change to powder load though so in a short barreled bolt action it makes blinding...
