Finished 2 more AKs. One is just stocks and paint the other has been touched a bit more. This one has the front sight moved back, barrel tenioner, rear peep, sight trunion closed with welded block and smoothed, stock grips, and trigger.

Anybody have one of the Olympic arms WSSM uppers? I think if they shoot as well as they claim they wouldn't be a bad choice for hunting. I just wonder how they function? Any thoughts?

I'm building another upper but up until recently had never seen the piston style uppers. Can I build this style with a regular bare upper and lower, or are the parts specific to the piston type? And is there anywhere I can get schematics or detailed info on them?

Does anyone have one of the Safety Harbors Ultra Mag 50 Uppers with the side magazine? Wondered how accurate they were. The action looks pretty thin with the cutout for the bolt on one side and the mag on the other. Any info???
