2020 presidential frontrunner Joe Biden said "we choose truth over facts" in a confusing gaffe that closed out a speech in Iowa today.

There is some sense to what he's saying.

Philosophically there is almost always a difference between what a person considers to be true and what the truth really is.

To Biden, an AR-15 is a military grade weapon. That's his true. The truth is that an AR-15 is not a military weapon and often made of components that are not strictly military "grade".

Another true to many on the gun hating side is that military grade = more deadly. Those who do know what military standards and specifications are for know the truth.
