    sweet video but you better hope that the g&f dont see it because you are not wearing any orange. i went and read your write up and i agree with 100% about not wearing the orange when there is no chance in hell any one is any where around but that does not work when the warden drives up and dont see any orange believe me i know.

    I hear ya Kurt, but it really isn't much different than when I go out to hunt in my guillie. I wear the same blaze hat while I am walking around looking for a good target...but when the stalk is on, and my hood comes up...you can't see it anyway. The Game Warden out where I hunt is a nice guy, probably not nice enough to give me a freebie and let me pass, but regardless. I always have it on, until i try and get "snipery"

    I frequent SilencerTalk quite a bit and this is the pic that floats around quite often. Sadly, it looks like no hunting of any kind fo ya, but the laws seem to have gotten updated in a few states lately.

    Thanks for the map bro, I called the NM fish&game and they lady 1) didnt really seems to know what a suppressor was 2) put her foot in her mouth by calling statutes "statories" LOL 3) then even went as far as to say that suppressors weren't legal for ownership in NM which I knew to be false. Gonna pop another elk next year, this time suppressed

    No prob, I got similar static when I called the GF&P last fall, so instead, I wrote an email to the head man in charge at the State Capitol. This was his response.

    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Suppressors are considered controlled weapons in SD and are <span style="text-decoration: underline">illegal</span>. <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-style: italic">However, federally approved suppressors are not illegal.</span></span>

    22-14-6. Possession of controlled weapon--Felony--Exceptions. Any person who knowingly possesses a controlled weapon is guilty of a Class 6 felony. However, the provisions of this section do not apply to any person who:

    (1) Is a law enforcement officer or member of the armed forces of the United States or South Dakota National Guard acting in the lawful discharge of duties;

    (2) Has a valid state or federal license issued pursuant to law for such weapon or has registered such weapon with the proper state or federal authority pursuant to law;

    (3) Possesses a controlled weapon briefly after having found it or taken it from an offender; or

    (4) Possesses a controlled weapon, except a machine gun or short shotgun, under circumstances which negate any purpose or likelihood that the weapon would be used unlawfully.

    Since you have to have to be federally approved to buy one in the first place...thats a goofy opening line...but basiclly, If it doesn't say in law "NO HUNTING GAME/NON GAME WITH SUPPRESSORS" and you can legally own one in your state, your good to go.

    I notice when you sling your rifle you have a 30rd pmag.....

    I have always been told you can only carry a max of 10rds in the rifle at once.

    Re: 09 Suppressed White Tail VIDEO

    I believe those p-mags are modified to only fit 5 rounds, you can only have 5 rounds in a mag while big game hunting in SD, i have all my 7.62 and 5.56 10 round mags fitted with spacer so only 5 will fit, it better be legal cause shotgun plugs are, and they do the same thing.

    We can only have 6. 5 in the mag and one in the pipe...but mine is modified to hold WSSM ammo, so they are single stacked and only hold a max of 10 anyway. 11 since I modified the follower as well. But I also built a removable plug similar to what is used to make the 30rd PMAGS legal for California....and i have conformation that it IS LEGAL to use a rifle magazine plug. It was an easy fix. Just made the plug the proper size and used the spring out of a standard 20 round mag.
