If the powers that be really wanted to do away with drugs, they could spike the supply with cyanide. Either the users would be too scared to do them, or do them anyway and just check on out of society. I prefer the latter because it gets rid of the burden of unproductive members of society.

Mayor was quoted saying , " but but muh power base " . And yeah Jerry no correction call on this shit . You cannot save someone who does not want saving .
The only reason for more money to combat this shit is so law mkers can get kick backs from the rehabs .

New Haven, especially The Green, used to be really nice. I watched it rapidly deteriorate growing up there. At one point it had a giant hobo camp in the middle, and now you can’t walk through it without seeing a tweaker or whatever. It’s sad, because they have the Cherry Blossom Festival, and Little Italy is within walking distance from that exact spot. Not to mention Yale and the Courthouse are within spitting distance as well.

There isn't a large New England city left that isn't a cesspool of progressive vomit.

You hit the nail on the head. I miss it at times, but then every time I go back to visit I see just how far down it’s gone I’m glad I got the hell out. Taxes through the roof, stupid laws, and all of the other nonsense they impose.

why are we wasting tax money saving people, the cops need to stand down and let nature take its course.

My brother is an EMT up there, and whenever they give someone a hit of Narcan they are usually VERY upset that they “killed” their high, not the fact that they just saved their life.

So I had to Google this to find out what it is. So it's synthetic weed? The fuck is the point in that when the real stuff is legal and gives a natural high? All drugs need to be legalized already. The war on drugs is lost and over.
It’s not simply just synthetic weed. It’s a designer drug with a different profile altogether. People are always desperate to try something new, and this shit also doesn’t show up on a standard 10 panel. The fact that one could OD on it tells you it’s quite different than weed

Don't blame him. They are not medics. Just a matter of time before a druggie goes Tango Uniform after getting dosed and the family sues.
What people don’t understand is that naloxone does not come without fallout sometimes. In the OR, if a patient is suspected of being over narcotized, you give about .1-.2 mg at a time and wait. They usually come out of it after a couple doses or so. This is to prevent a massive withdrawal effect, as well as pulmonary edema, which doesn’t happen often but is a serious effect. In the field, these fucking guys are jamming in 2-4 mg in a single dose. And, that is for suspected opioid OD. Trust me, there are unconscious dudes out there who have gotten the shot and were not on opioids at all. I’ve witnessed a nurse and an intern call for naloxone on the floor, because the patient was snowed on benzos. Sure it will bring someone out of a heroin OD, but there needs to be some knowledge and responsibility with using this shit

That would interfere with the primary cash crop of our "allies." Never happen.
Poppy eradication was a sister program of the one I worked in Afghanistan, and I knew many who worked on it as they came over to us after it was folded up. What fields were allowed or not to be plowed under was decided by the local district and provincial governors, they owned many of them, and it was nothing more than them taking out their competition. Everything was lined up to start spraying the fields with RoundUp from the air in '07, Karzai shut it down with a heavy campaign of Agent Orange type threats. It definitely wasn't any kind of US conspiracy to not spray, but it was all Karzai and his family of drug lords calling the shots on that one. In early '08, they made a bust of 260 tons of drugs down south that was Karzai's brothers stash, buried in the desert in numerous shipping containers, and was so large it was destroyed via several JDAMs. Similar busts were repeated numerous times over the years.

Conspiracy theorist claims the US mil, DEA, CIA, whatever other alphabet agency, were in on the drug trade have been made many times over and over, it really couldn't be further from the truth.
