The powder I use depends on the the bullet weight that I am using . What bullet weight are you considering ?

Power Pistol is a good choice.

Ihot thousands of rounds with Winchester Action Pistol. 180 g bullets. 8.2 grains. 1200 FPS out of a 6" 10mm revolver.

But I don't think they make it any longer but someone has the exact eqivelant, I think its Hodgdon but Not sure on the number.

If you're not looking to make full power loads the combinations are almost limitless. You could run 180gr coated lead going 950fps with 4gr of E3. If you want to make full power loads you could run 180gr Gold Dots going 1300fps with 10gr of Longshot.

Here are slow powders. If you want light recoiling range loads look for something faster.

For a range load, it's kind of like the 45 ACP - you can use just about any pistol powder from Bullseye to Blue Dot. Powder choices narrow down when you get into full power loads, but for mild loads most pistol powders work. Bullet weight does matter though; use a slower burn rate for the heavy bullets.

What bullets do you want to shoot, and what pistol powders do you have? That'd be an easier place to start.

I’ve got a bunch of 180 FMJs to load and I have CFE Pistol and Power Pistol on hand so I think I’m good to go.

Yep either of those powders will do the job. Power Pistol is consistent but makes a fair amount of flash, so if that matters you may prefer to use CFE Pistol.
