I usually shoot 168-175gr bullets through my 700 Varmint. But I received some free 150gr SP bullets from hornady. Any decent load data to load them to with CFE223 or IMR4895. For reference I load 168BTHP hornady's with 40.0gr 4895 and 44gr CFE.

20" bbl, AR type 308, 1/10 twist. CCI #34 mil primer (same strength as magnum primer according to CCI). 42 gr IMR 4895. Roughly 2630 fps. 145 gr FMJ. This is where my groups come together. Of course your bolt gun will be quite different I'm sure.

When I ran out of my old lot of surplus IMR4895, I broke open an 8-pounder of "Radway Green" (British) 4895. Shoots the same as my old 4895 BY VOLUME-NOT WEIGHT. The same volume of the RG4895 in my Dillom 550b powder measure as 42gr of the old IMR4895 weighs 44.7gr and duplicates velocity/performance of my old loads. Just throwing this out there to spotlight the fact that all 4895's ain't the same.

Little update for anyone in the future. I loaded up some test loads. 46.3gr CFE223 grouped the tightest. But best group I could get was 1.5+ MOA. While my tried and true 168gr load shot sub 1/2 MOA on a hot and dirty barrel.
