Indeed I did. Bryan, in the article you write briefly about the quality of manufacturing and I was wondering if anyone has done an analysis of the consistency of the manufactured bullet. I suspect this is captured within your G7 results but am curious to know if the various lengths & angles that make up a bullet can be consolidated into a single figure that represents the potential deviation from the mean in a produced bullet prior to flight.
Lapua's new Scenar L "sets out to to tighten all measures and requirements, including our already famous quality control standards. Closer weight tolerances, tighter jacket wall concentricity standards, and greater uniformity in every dimension, starting from the gilding metal cup, lead wire and jacket forming, ending up to core-jacket assembly, boat tail pressing and tipping. Several new proprietary machines, manufacturing steps and advanced instrumentations combined to the ScenarL manufacturing line never seen before in bullet production. We also took our already high quality control standards and kicked them up a notch." Ok, so how much of an improvement does this produce in overall consistency of the finished round ? Is that still best measured via the drag or should consistency of manuf utilise a different approach ?
Thanks

OT however after some initial testing between the old 105 Scenar, ScenarL and the 105 Berger that a friend of mine did out of his 6 XC it was noted that the ScenarL shot groups about half the size of the old Scenar and had a slight edge on the Bergers,
yes there was load develpment made on the new bullet, the others had the shooter already maxed out the precision with,
furthermore, the ScenarL shot about ,5 mil higher than the Berger at 600 meters,
in conclusion however this shooter felt that there was little to nothing to be had with the new ScenarL over the less pricy Bergers that he has a good and steady supply of.
Back on track,
I am shooting the 155 Palma and 550 powder, I hope that I can get some results to come back vith after the weekend.
