For those of you reloading for a short 6.5 CM (preferably ~16"), what velocity have you found to be the most accurate in your rifle? I was easily able to push a 130gr eldm to 2825 today, but the grouping wasn't fantastic. Just trying to see if there's a concensus range that has proven to be the most accurate. What powder and weight does that happen to be?

    Thanks for any help

Damn, that's a great velocity for only a 16.5" Barrel.

Sounds like you have the powder down. I would focus now on seating depth to see where it likes to jump or be jammed from.

What powder and brass are you currently using. I would keep an eye out for pressure signs for sure if you are already at 2825fps.

Yea, I was surprised. Its RL16. I ran a ladder from 39.6 (~2460 fps) up to the book max of 44.4 and still haven't seen any pressure signs. Brass is Norma, but I only have 58 pieces, so I'll probably be moving to Peterson or lapua depending on cost difference
