.199 Cleaning rod in a precision .22lr?

I have a Montana Extreme cleaning rod that's .199 in diameter.
Before I use it on my newly barreled .22lr 40X (and my soon to be ordered Vudoo) will a .199 cleaning rod damage my barrels?
Should I use something a bit smaller like the .187 Boretech rod?

As soon as Im sure what rod/diameter I plan to order a Lucas bore guide.

I can't recall the diameter of my proshot rod, but I know it's for a 20 cal and is what vudoo recommends for cleaning 22rf.

Does Lucas make bore guides for .22 LR? I tried to buy one a few years ago and was told they didn't make them.

He will for a Remington 40X, not sure about anything else...

I have a ProShot 20cal I use for all my rimfire barrels. Though I wasn't sure if it would fit in the Vudoo bore guide. They told me to buy the Montana Extreme 17-20cal rod which is what one of the people who worked at Vudoo uses. The main issue was not the barrel but the mechanical ejector they didn't want someone to hit with a rod.

Dewey .20 cal rods are 0.185. The 22 cal rods are .210.
