First wanted to say thanks to this site for the wealth of information that helped me decide on components for this build. I wanted the Barrett 98b after shooting a friends 82A1, but didn't want a 50bmg to learn long range. Took it out today, eyeballed the bore to scope at 100 yds and hit level 4 minutes right. Dialed the Nightforce 5.5-22x56 mounted with Barrett rings, just in case the BORS goes on next, to the hole and proceeded to put 5 at 1 moa dead center, dialed 3 moa up and hit 300 1 minute low. "Damn, I'm gonna have fun with this thing". packed up came home and zero'd scope. Not bad for a hole shot load of 10 rds using Lapua brass, 250 scenars, 215 primers, and 90g Retumbo. Next will be ladder test for powder and work up the final load. Then it goes to the range we put together last week thats 500-1200 yds with steel every 100 yds thats 5 miles away from home. Anyway, you have no idea how much of this site I've read and searched over the last couple months to get this far, thanks again.
